Burn the leaves of the rosemary plant to produce a good amount of ashes. Store these in a glass jar and brush onto teeth to keep the mouth clean and sweet smelling.

To whiten and polish teeth, get a toothbrush from a black gum tree, chew it until it makes a brush; then get the soot from the back of a fire. Place on gums and rub gums and teeth with black gum toothbrush. This will whiten and clean teeth.
