Eczema can be relieved if you take a small bottle of olive oil and chop into it a nice large piece of chickweed. Cap it tightly and use this whenever a flare-up of eczema occurs. Garlic cloves in olive oil (with or without the chickweed) works well also.
Oil of marigolds is healing to the face and helps cure pimples. Prepare by adding 1 cup of marigold flowers to 1 quart of olive oil. Set all day on a warm part of the stove or in direct sunlight. DO NOT BOIL! Strain and use on face.

Sore muscles can be comforted by rubbing with olive oil into which ginger root has been chopped. This is also good to apply to bruises to promote healing.
